Meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by President Doreen D.

Existing membership was 61 at the time of the meeting. All members have until the end of January to renew, at which time new members will be considered.
President Doreen Dever welcomed everyone and reminded the group of the responsibilities of membership. These responsibilities include donating at least one quilt to Camaco's designated charities; participating in events, monthly Ways and Means raffles and Show and Tell.
New Business: Discussion was held about the needs of families at the local Coast Guard base. These needs include diapers, baby formula, and food. Clare made a motion that Camaco donate $200 for the Coast Guard families. Linda F seconded this motion and majority of those present agreed. Sharon told us about Ryans Case for Smiles, and Miles of Pillowcase Smiles (MOPS). This year's guild pillowcase competition is September 15
at Upper Township Community Center.
Charity: Eleanor N, Joey G, Betsy Y
Joey G offered fabric, quilt tops, backing, and binding for anyone to use for their charity quilt project.
Eleanor N enumerated all the charity projects that were done in the previous year for Tranquility House and CARA, and the team of 22 people it took
to piece, assemble, quilt, bind, and deliver these items.

Eileen told us that Lower Township Library displays quilts from the guild in their showcase during the month of May.
Next meeting a block of the month activity will be discussed.
Open Sew: Sandra W and Joey G
Open Sew has been added as a standing committee this year. It is held on the 3rd, 4th and 5th Wednesdays of the month from 9:30 am to
4:00pm. You can come for the duration, or for any part of the day. You bring your own project(s) to work on. If you have questions, there are wonderful
experts that attend. Often there are short demonstrations for the group on a technique.
Old Business: The Charity Committee has an inventory of batting, fabric, and quilt backing that is available for members for making their charity quilts. Also available for anyone to use is an Accuquilt cutter. Charity committee members are out of space in their homes for storing these items. The Millman center does not have space available for this purpose. If anyone has ideas or space for these items please talk to Doreen D or a Charity Committee member.
More Old Business: Where does the money go? A budget has been done for the current year that specifies what each committee has available for its purpose.
